Our Story
"Why are they getting married all the way out there?"
We met in the summer of 2015 while working in Sant Cugat during our college break. We got chatting at the local swimming pool and things went from there. Back then, we’d often wander to the monastery grounds for an ice cream in the sun, or pop into the local bar next door for a "soft drink."
Since then, we’ve lived in Liverpool, Barcelona, Sevilla, Maynooth, and Naas and now we’re back where it all began to celebrate our wedding day.
Monestir de Sant Cugat
The Monestir de Sant Cugat is our (Siobhan's) dream setting for our ceremony. Its sunlit Romanesque cloister and graceful arches create an intimate, romantic backdrop for our vows, while the surrounding gardens promise tranquil moments between celebrations.
Be sure to arrive early to say hello—and maybe share a quick chat with David to help calm his nerves before we begin.

Can Magi, Sant Cugat
Onto stunning venue number two of the day.
We’ll be celebrating at Can Magi until late, enjoying incredible food, some questionable banter in the speeches and perhaps even a free drink or two along the way!
At the end of the night there will be regular buses taking people back to their accommodation.
